SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Several times during the month Accademia Italiana organises and proposes various social activities such as excursions, visits to  museums, trips to the countryside, the sea or the mountains, social dinners and evenings to the theatre. Each week the school organises the showing of classic movies done by the most important Italian Neo-realism and modern directors, such as  Fellini, Antonioni, Salvatores, Bertolucci, Tornatore, Benigni, Moretti. The showings are also followed by a participatory discussion raised by the film. The rich library of Accademia Italiana is always accessible to all our students who want to read or borrow Italian books, magazines or newspapers.

SPORT

Perhaps one finds it pleasing to be able to dedicate a few hours after a day’s study to a favourite sport or to learn a new one; a tennis match, a swim in an  olympic size pool, gymnastics and aerobics in one of the athletic structures offering special discounts to our students are just a few of the possibilities. Some stables in the nearby surroundings offer the possibility of relaxing horseback riding through the beautiful hills and olive groves which are on the outskirts of town. The environment offers a stimulating backdrop for cycling. If football or rugby are one’s passions, it’s possible to partecipate in practice sessions with the players of local teams.
